“Introversion is a result of constant introspection”

Communication is two way. There should be a talker and listener. When one talks the other listens and when other talks the one listens. This is called communication. If one talks constantly and the other listens constantly, nothing productive is achieved and its a drain of energy for both. There should be a balance and an acknowledgement.

Am pretty sure a person who is much introverted would face this challenge of constant listening to a talker. Without able to express it, don’t want to devalue them and cannot nod away their head from the flow of sentences gushing out without a break.

In recent years, we have mixed much more factors to the communication including ego, appearance, status, wealth, upward communication, downward communication, social media communication, textual communication, distant communication, video communication and so on. Mixed with all this spices communication is all spiced up.

Its no wonder why there are still articles, books, lectures and conferences doing so well on this topic. It shows we are still to improvise on the way we communicate with each other.

Today we have characterized people with different personalities like introverts, extroverts, ambiverts and so on. It is as such we are trying to understand different people and trying to fit them in a frame. Just imagine a glass getting filled with water and overflowing. People are not that definite to fit into a frame, they evolve constantly with experiences and hardships and mostly fear of what others think at-least in a social circle. We can just say everyone is introvert in a way as everyone has a little bit of personal life and personal needs from the social one. Extroverts cannot be social always, they too have their own personal life and a personal spot in their mind and they too are introverts in that way.

I would define introversion as people who spends more time to introspect themselves and trying to understand themselves.It is a constant and never ending struggle.

As Einstein said, ‘There is only heat or no heat and no such thing as cold’. It is just introversion or less introversion or absence of it. Or Extroversion or less extroversion or absence of it. Choice is yours. With that talked, read below to get yourself reminded of some of the things in life:

Just listen, when it is high wind its a biggest animation of clouds in sky

Just listen, wind is a pass by artist, cloud and sun are the paints and sky is the canvas

Just listen, art is a time machine

Just listen, when is the last time you felt hunger?

Just listen, we live in a delicate balance of life

Just listen, you will be more creative

Just listen, you learn more and know more

Just listen, everyone is battling their life

Just listen, some people come forward and help even though their life is miserable

Just listen, unfinished art is more beautiful to the artist

Just listen, unfinished art raises lot of questions

Just listen, help not received in time is not help at all

Just listen, you will become more kind and compassionate

Just listen, you know exactly what is wrong

When Words quit, I appear

Art exist from early days of Human beings from cave paintings to today’s modern art, they lived side by side with us even before words were created. They started as a form of expressing things to each other with actions and sounds. As early humans didn’t have a save button to save the file to disk, they stored the actions and sounds as pictorial representation in rocks and caves. We can clearly see that in Egyptian hieroglyphs. Once they started getting the feel of picture and painting, they started to enjoy it giving way for some cultural rain to shower

Am not a scientific or research person, but its my belief that our DNA is a storage medium, which stores actions done repeatedly over time and that’s how character and traits develop. And it is alterable but with a strong will to change. Lets not deviate over there and lets get back to this blog…

Art in play…

Paintings and art can really alter your mind and thoughts. The Art you see here is not really a cave painting, but a Microsoft Paint’s spray painting. But our mind can easily give a taste of cave painting and take us to the early days on seeing this. Now lets go to the sea with coconut trees down below:

The picture here is not really a good depiction of a sea with coconut tree, but our mind connects the missing dots and pixels to give us this representation. Lets take another example by going to the desert

This one tells us it is a night in the desert and some traveler is taking rest in his tent illuminated with oil lamp. Clearly, he is using a camel for travelling and he found a place with date trees to spend the cold night.

In today’s modern world we have words to express almost everything. But what do we do with words? we collect and try to create a picture of what is told to us in our mind and try to relate it. That’s how we listen and understand. Its a picture to picture comparison. So the most fundamental form of word is a picture, which is a form of painting.

Take any word and go down on its meaning until you cannot find a word to describe it and the end will be a picture or an action which is a picture in your mind. When there are no more words, just art exist

Until today there are expressions which cannot be really expressed with words and situations that cannot be expressed (we just say, I got this situation) and it is getting complex to feel what some one is going through without having an understanding or words to describe it properly. Most of them turn towards Art to express their feeling, they pour down their soul on it as a snapshot of themselves recorded so far in their DNA and gets a satisfaction from it when people try to interpret and understands it. For the artist it is another quality time digested expressing their feeling.

Art really can be a soul cleaning activity as it sprinkles out good vibes and energies for those surrounding it and the one who paints it. It rewires the brain and takes us to see things we never realized, yet it was so near to us. It shapes the person, it shapes the mind, it shapes the world, it propagates peace. Lets Art, celebrate Art and live Artfully.

Which is good – Past, Present or Future?

“Mind is like a window, you can only see what appears in it”


In the Past:

A man was living with his family in a hut in an ancient village. He got clay pots for cooking, clay floors, no shoes, no soap, no shampoo, no brush, no TV, no internet, no hair gel, no moisturizer, no perfume. What he had was a flock of hens, a herd of goats, two cows and a land for farming, and a bamboo flute. His hut was the tallest in the village and he was the wealthiest in the village

All he and his family can eat on a day was a rice porridge with green chilies and onions, or with dried fish. He didn’t know that some day there will be a technological breakthrough that will connect all the world through internet, a window to the world through Television, Tablets, a vehicle without cows and horses. His Internet was his village, his tablet was his bamboo flute he played in the meadows while the cows grass, his tooth brush was a little twig of neem. His car is an ox cart.

On a day in the meadows while he was resting and the cows grassing, he thought to himself, the world developed so much and humans discovered so much like ox cart, flute, neem twig, clay pots and learned to build huts and domesticate cows, clothing ‘Wow…’ what a wonderful world and why anyone need more than that. On thinking he slept and the mind traveled from him to the near present time

Near present:

A billionaire man living in his luxurious mansion with luxurious cars and yachts was fishing in some part of the Pacific Ocean while on a vacation. Waiting for a fish to eat the bait, the mind entered him and he thought to himself “I got everything in this world, i can buy anything i want and generations can flourish, and am happy for what i have. What else more is needed and what else more can I get from this life? ‘Wow…’ this is a wonderful world, and his mind was disturbed by the fish pole’s dance

So which one?

On looking both the stories, every developed civilization thought, they are the advanced civilization on every point of time and that is true. Only major difference being the material surrounding, the quantity and shapes changed. For example speeds increased, flavor increased, music increased, knowledge increased, void in the mind increased, data increased and every of this is present in every point of time, just the quantity did not match. Entertainment took a new shape, TV’s changed to new shape, newspapers changed to new shape, Music took a new form, Technology took a new form, cars started wearing new fashions, communication changed. But the purpose of all this remained the same throughout time, the progress made so far is to make everything faster a little more.

1’s…50’s, 60’s,70’s, 80’s, 90’s etc., each of them dropped and will drop themselves from the shoot system to the root system and that’s how we progress. The mistakes and choices made by the past are just an event of time which was waiting to be triggered at one point or another like a dormant volcano. The mistakes never made will be triggered at one point in the future ,as that should be learned by humanity and it has to cross through that.

In short, we cannot really compare every generation, each of them was contributing, correcting and full-filling the people in its own way with what was given at that time period. Every time period is unique and we are here because they were there. So do we to the future.

A Plant and a Flower

If Earth is a Plant…

If earth is a plant, then humans are flowers. The plant has many flowers blooming everyday. But some flowers only bloom once and disappears for ever without anyone noticing, just leaving a piece of energy into the air.

Some people are like that, they will appear and give a valuable lesson to the people surrounding them and disappear without a trace, not like the people in social media trends these days who bloom everyday and shed everyday. These people are rare. The blooming of these people cannot be controlled or timed. They are the desires of nature, when in need they bloom in the established weather.

If Human is a Plant…

If human is a plant, then intelligence is a flower which can bloom only after sustaining certain growth. The human plant should be stable enough to cross through some of the needs: food, shelter, clothing, social acceptance, family needs, peaceful mind, etc., only then human can really start to bloom the intelligence flower; sadly for most people achieving this would take a life time and the plant dies without blooming

If Intelligence is a Plant…

If intelligence is a plant, then thought is a flower. The thought of a human can change anything as thought becomes action. The thought flower could be good or could be bad, depending on how the intelligence is planted and the surrounding it had grown. If it is good it can feed the life wheel, if it is bad it can feedback the life wheel and correct itself. Both of them are needed for the balance of life

The earth has most of these intelligence wasted for a very long time because, there is no technology to harvest it with efficiency right now. Intelligent people born and die everywhere without anyone noticing or without their intelligence ever used. I can say schools may be a place to harvest this resource, but it is not that efficient today. The intelligence harvested in schools are mostly domestic flowers, and the intelligence grown itself are wild ones

If Thought is a Plant…

If Thought is a plant, then creation is a flower. Our imagination are the combination of things seen by us in any part of our life time. We cannot think things beyond what we have seen. Example: Try yourself, imagining a color you have not seen, you will always end up with the color you have seen. Still, with the available imagination, there are lot more creations to be made, lot more flowers to bloom. Good creations are rare, good vibes are rare and good arts are rare because good thoughts are rare.

Lets keep this in mind and start creating good and new thoughts without reinventing the wheel as the journey of mind continues

In the Ocean of Unknown, the Mind is a Boat

“Most of the time when looking back into the history of human kind and the stories developed by thyself, the facts and truths of the past had become stories, stories added imagination and colors, which framed the myths overtime and myths expanded curiosity, which asks us to dig into the history and explore beyond our reach“

As from the time humans stepped into this earth to today, we heard lots of stories. We are not sure if the stories and myths we came across are true; history and archeology connects some of the dots, thanks for them. But one thing is sure, all those stories are empowering us to create our own story to take part in the unknown energy field

The unknown energy

Humans feared the unknown from the dawn of the time; humans feared the dark, humans feared the water, humans feared the fire, humans feared the lightning, humans feared thunder etc., until we knew them. Once we learnt to understand them, we lost the fear and created curiosity around them.

Unknown is a great energy, it boosts the mind to explore more. Those who conquer the unknown, conquer the riches. Generally speaking, lets say the average time frame of human is 70 years, during which the human experiences a lot of things good, bad, friends, enemies, humility, laughter, love, loss, loneliness, family, enjoyment, enthusiasm, regret, mistakes and goes through every possible emotions during their lifetime, but when they born they had no idea about where it is going to start and where it is going to end; from the moment of birth they hang on to the unknown thread ready for traveling the life and goes through each unknown one by one and learn and move forward. Once after their life time, the play of their life is a new experience for the earth, a new vibration of energy passed down to the younger minds. This has happened throughout history from the invention of wheel to fire to the current technology, the knowledge is passed down and experiences are passed down and some still remained unknown. Every human who took birth on this earth is a unique possibility of the path of life. From the start of time, everyone explored some of the unknown by living their own life even though they are not aware of the contribution they made for the progress of the current world and things we enjoy now. This energy of unknown flows throughout time and through every minds of men and women and continues to open itself in the process of human life. As an individual in the given time frame of life, its up-to us to gather the most out of the unknown and pass it down to the younger minds of the future.
